Illustration 1 g01275285Use the following procedure to install the exhaust manifolds and the bellows:
To avoid damaging the bellows, assemble and disassemble the exhaust manifold segments individually. The bolts and nuts may be assembled from either side of the flanges for the bellows.
Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound on all threads prior to assembly.
Assemble the exhaust manifolds (1) to the cylinder heads. Tighten the bolts hand tight.
Assemble the bellows (2) to the exhaust manifolds and to the turbochargers. Tighten the bolts hand tight.
Tighten the bolts (3) that attach the manifolds to the cylinder heads. Torque ... 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft)
