Install cam (27) and piston assemblies (31) as a unit on shaft (8), as shown.
Install barrel assembly (22) .
Ensure that piston assemblies (31) are reinstalled in the original bores in the barrel assembly.

Turn over the rotating group, as shown. Support the weight of the rotating group on the shaft, as shown.
Install spacers (21) .
Install the correct amount of shims that was determined in steps 1 through 20.

Heat bearing cone (20) to a maximum temperature of 120 °C (250 °F). Install the bearing cone on shaft (8), as shown. Ensure that the bearing cone is seated on the shoulder of the shaft.

Carefully install the rotating group in the pump body. Install two socket head bolts (19) that hold the rotating group to the pump body.

Install two dowels (18) in head (14) .
Use Tooling (C) in order to install lip seal (17) in head (14). Make sure that the seal makes contact with the counterbore in the pump. Install the seal so that the sealing lip will be toward the inside of the pump body. Lubricate the lip of the seal with clean hydraulic oil.

Install plate (15) on head (14), as shown. Put the gasket and head (14) in the original position on the pump body. Install four bolts (12). Tighten the four socket head bolts to a torque of 120 20 N m (90 15 lb ft).
Reinstall two dowels (13) in the head.

Install impeller (11) on the shaft, as shown.

Install retaining ring (9) with Tooling (B) .
Pull impeller (11) upward on the shaft. Hold the impeller up and measure the distance from the impeller to the outside surface of the head.
The impeller must be installed 0.44 0.08 mm (0.017 0.003 inch) below the outside surface of the head.
Add shims (10) on top of the impeller in order to fill the remaining gap between impeller (11) and retaining ring (9) .

Put implement pump (2) in position on Tooling (A), as shown.
Install the O-ring seal on implement pump (2) .
Repeat steps 24 through 64 in order to assemble implement pump (1) .
Put manifold (7) in the original position on implement pump (2). Install eight bolts (6). Tighten the eight bolts to a torque of 120 20 N m (90 15 lb ft).

Install the coupling on the shaft of implement pump (2) .
Install the O-ring seal in the pump body of implement pump (2) .
Attach a suitable hoist and a suitable sling to implement pump (1). Install the implement pump in the original position on the manifold. Install four bolts (5) .

Install the O-ring seal in implement pump (1). Put manifold (4) in the original position on implement pump (1). Install eight bolts (3). Tighten the eight bolts to a torque of 120 20 N m (90 15 lb ft).End By: Install the implement hydraulic pumps.
