Fill the strainer (5) with clean diesel fuel. Fill the strainer through the fill port (2) .
Set the recirculate valve (1) to the return position.
Connect a return hose to the return line on the additive spray system. Route the hose into the barrel of diesel fuel.

Turn the control to ON. Set the Liquid Control switch (6) to RECIRCULATE. Operate the engine at idle.
Add diesel fuel through the fill port (2) until the lines for the additive spray system are filled.
Recirculate the system for five minutes with the engine at idle. Recirculate the system for another five to ten minutes with the engine at high idle.
Move the recirculation valve (1) to the DUMP position. Pump the diesel fuel into the barrel.
Set the Liquid Control switch (6) to OFF.

Position a suitable container below the drain valves (7) and (8). Open the valves. Drain the remaining diesel fuel into the container.Note: In order to store the machine for extended periods, do not drain the diesel fuel from the additive spray system. Before the machine is returned to service, the diesel fuel should be drained from the system.
