Make reference to the S on the first several pages of the Testing And Adjusting section.
Measure the output pressure of pressure reducing valve (1) by installing a quick disconnect in line (2) between the pressure reducing valve and the brake manifold.Note: The output pressure depends on the engine speed. Measure the output pressure while the machine is at high idle.The output pressure should be 3790 140 kPa (550 20 psi).Adjusting

Stop the engine.
Purge the air from the brake accumulators by applying the brakes repeatedly.
Make sure that the tank is relieved of residual pressure.
Remove cover (3) .
Turn the hex plug inside the cover clockwise by one turn in order to increase the output pressure by approximately 450 kPa (65 psi).
Install cover (3) .
Start the engine. Make sure that the output pressure is within the specification.
