Start By:a. separate tracks 1. Fasten tool (A) and a hoist to track carrier roller (1).2. Remove four bolts (2) and the four washers, and two caps (3) that hold track carrier roller (1) in place. Remove the track carrier roller. Weight of the track carrier roller is 118 kg (260 lb). For the disassembly and assembly procedure of the track carrier rollers, see the topic, Disassemble And Assemble Track Rollers, located in this module. The following steps are for the installation of the track carrier rollers.
Make sure the end of the track carrier roller shaft, that has the rubber stopper and fill plug in it, is facing toward the outside of the track roller frame.
3. Fasten tool (A) and a hoist to track carrier roller (1) and put the track carrier roller in position on the machine.4. Align the pin in caps (3) with the hole in the track carrier roller shaft, and install two caps (3), and four bolts (2) and the washers. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 750 70 N m (550 50 lb ft).End By:a. connect tracks
