Cleaning the Filters
Outside Filters
Note: Clean the air filters more often during dusty conditions.

Open the access cover that is located at the front of the cab. The filter element is located inside the access cover.
Remove the thumb screws which hold the filter element in place.
Remove the filter element. Clean the filter element with pressure air or wash the filter element in warm water. Use a nonsudsing household detergent. Rinse the filter element in clean water and air dry the filter element thoroughly.
After you clean the filter element, inspect the filter element. Do not use a filter element with damaged pleats or a damaged seal. If the filter element is damaged, replace the filter element.
Install the filter element. Reinstall the access cover. Inside Filter
