Removal Procedure
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Remove guard assembly (1) .

Use a suitable pry bar in order to release the tension from belts (2). Reposition belts (2) out of the way. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove spring (3) and bracket assembly (4) .

Disconnect hose assembly (5). Disconnect elbows (8) and (9). Remove bolts (7) and housing (6) .

Remove O-ring seals (10) and water temperature regulators (11). If necessary, remove lip seals (12) .Installation Procedure
Install water temperature regulators (11) in the reverse order of removal.
