Note: Apply 155-0695 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of stud (1) prior to installation. (2) Use the following procedure in order to tighten the bolts that fasten the plate to the cylinder block.
Tighten the eight locking bolts to 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
Again tighten the eight locking bolts to 55 N m (41 lb ft).

(3) During assembly, the rear face of the housing and the front face of the cylinder block must be free of oil, fuel, water, dirt, assembly compounds and any other contaminants. Note: After assembly, trim the gasket and flush the gasket with the face of the housing.Note: Apply 8T-9022 Silicone Gasket in order to fill the space at the connecting joint of the front plate, oil pan gasket, and cylinder block.
