Multipurpose bucket
(A) 205-4846 Bucket Cylinder GpThe bucket cylinder group (A) may experience failures in the rod and leaks hydraulic oil. The bucket speed may be too quick during dump cycle and causes the bucket cylinder to come to an abrupt stop at the end of stoke. This action leads to failure and result in breakage of bucket cylinder group.Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem, and is recommending the following interim repair.In the event of failure, reduce the machine flow rate to 40 %. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual , SEBU8720 and SEBU9245 , "Operator Controls" for K-Series and M-Series Wheel Loaders respectively for the procedure.
