Security System Anti-Theft Keypad

Anti-theft Key pad is located to the right of the operator in the cab.
The "Anti-Theft Keypad" immobilizes the engine, transmission, and hydraulic systems at power ON until a valid passcode is entered on the keypad, enabling machine operation. The security system can store up to 25 “User” codes plus "Owner and Dealer Master Codes" that can be used to unlock the machine. The operator passcode is six digits in length to maximize security. Two LED lamps are used to indicate the system status. A padlock symbol (located at the bottom of key 9/0) is lit red to indicate that the system is locked. This symbol is identified as "LED2" on Illustration 6. An unlocked padlock symbol "(LED1)" is located at the top of key 1/2. This symbol is lit by a green led when the machine is operational. The LCD display on the gauge cluster will also indicate whether the machine is in a locked out or access granted state. See illustration 7 for the machine lockout icon.
Illustration 7 g03732216The instrument cluster associates the "Engine Starter Mode" signal with the "Machine Security System Alert Indicator" and turns ON when the signal value is incorrect. If the received signal value is correct, the "Alert Indicator" is OFF. If no communication of the signal is received from the ECU, then the "Alert Indicator" shall be OFF by default.Unlocking and Locking Machine Systems
To unlock the machine systems, follow these steps:
When the key switch is turned to the ON position, note that "LED2" flashes RED.
Enter the “User” passcode, when the code is recognized, "LED1" is lit GREEN and a double beep is heard.
If the code is entered incorrectly, "LED2" continues to flash RED. Attempt to enter the “User” code again.
If the “User” code is entered incorrectly five times, the keypad enters a “Tamper” disable mode for 15 minutes. During this time the machine cannot be unlocked, "LED2" will blink rapidly, and a long beep will be heard. To lock the machine, follow these steps:
Turn the key switch to the OFF position.
The keypad will now enter a 30 second countdown cycle, indicated by "LED1" flashing GREEN.
After the countdown cycle is complete, "LED2" glows RED to indicate that machine systems are locked. At the same time a double beep is heard to indicate machine systems are locked. Note: If the key switch is turned ON during the countdown cycle, the keypad will indicate machine systems are unlocked Canceling the countdown.Delayed Lock Feature
The following steps allow the machine to be temporarily unlocked for 15 minutes:
When the key switch is turned to the OFF position, within 5 seconds press and hold key 3/4 for 1 second. If this step is done correctly, a double beep is heard and "LED1" flashes GREEN.
The machine is now in the unlocked state for 15 minutes. After this time is complete, the keypad will lock the machine systems. Note: If the operator needs to lock the machine before the 15 minute period has elapsed, press key 9/0 for
