Use the appropriate Service Manual Module as an aid for removing and installing the radiator.
1. Remove the radiator core with the top and bottom tanks intact.2. Remove the 4N7007, 4N7009, 4N7015, and 4N5364 Baffle Assemblies from the radiator.3. New dampers (3) have an adhesive side. Place the adhesive side of the dampers in contact with new baffle assemblies (1) and (2). See Illustration 2.4. Put baffle (1) or (2), damper (3) and channel (4) assemblies in position on each side of the radiator core. Use wire, wrapped around the radiator and baffle assemblies, to temporarily hold the baffle/damper/channel assemblies in position on the core.5. Mark the location of the three holes on the outboard side of each new baffle assembly (1) and (2) with an (X). The marks can be used as a guide to line up the holes in side panels of the guard and support group with the holes in the new baffles.
Illustration 3. Location of bolts and washers (7).6. Lower the radiator/baffle/damper/channel assembly into position in the guard and support group. When halfway installed in support group, remove the wire that was temporarily installed in Step 4. Install the bolts and washers (7) that fasten each side guard and support group to new baffles (1) and (2).
