Procedure to convert 615C Tractors (5TF1-302)
1. Remove the former pin assembly (2) and two bolts (1) shown in Illustration 1.
Illustration 1. Hitch group. The former 5T3188 Pin Assembly can be used in place of the 8W9515 Pin Assembly. Put the 5T3188 Pin Assembly in a lathe and remove enough material from the pin assembly until diameter (A) is 110.0 mm (4.33"). See Illustration 2.2. Install a new 8W9515 Pin Assembly (or a modified 5T3188 Pin Assembly) and two 6V8849 Bolts. The bolts should clear the pin assembly and allow the pin to turn freely.3. Tighten the nut to 745 N m (550 lb ft) and rotate the pin assembly to the next locking position.
