Remove pin (20) from guard assembly (16). Repeat this procedure with the remaining pin.
Use the hydraulic jack in order to remove the guard assembly (16) from the machine frame. The weight of guard assembly (16) is 68 kg (150 lb).

Remove bolt (21) and the locknut from pin (22) .
Place a suitable hydraulic jack under stabilizer bar (23) .
Remove pin (22) from stabilizer bar (23) and bracket (24). Lower stabilizer bar (23) to the floor. The weight of stabilizer bar (23) is 55 kg (120 lb).
Repeat Steps 23 through 25 in order to remove the remaining stabilizer bar.

Position a suitable lifting device to stabilizer bar (23). Secure the lifting device to a hoist. Slowly remove pin (12) and spacer (27). The weight of stabilizer bar (23) is 49 kg (108 lb).

While pin (12) is removed, carefully slide stabilizer bar (23) to the rear of the machine. Cam assembly (25) will release from mounting bracket (6). Repeat this procedure for the remaining cam and stabilizer bar.

During removal of grill (36), wire harness (38) needs to be disconnected before grill (36) can be moved from the radiator guard. Disconnect the wire when access to the wire harness is available.
Remove six bolts (26) from grill (27). Move the lower left corner of grill (27) forward.
Disconnect wire harness (29). Remove grill (27) from the machine.
Remove five bolts (28) that hold plate (30) to the radiator guard.
Remove wire (29) and the grommet from plate (30), as plate (30) is removed from the radiator guard.

Inside of Mounting Bracket (16)
Remove bolts (31) and the washers from the bottom of mounting bracket (6) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (32) from the mounting bracket.
Position a suitable lifting device to mounting bracket (6). Secure the lifting device to a hoist.
Remove four bolts (33) and the washers from mounting bracket (6). Remove mounting bracket (6) from the machine frame. The weight of the mounting bracket (6) is 227 kg (500 lb).

Use a hammer and a punch in order to remove pin (37) from ripper tooth group (36) .
Remove tip (38) from ripper tooth group (36) .

Position a suitable lifting device to ripper tooth group (36). Secure the lifting device to a hoist. The weight of ripper tooth group (36) is 31 kg (68 lb). Remove cotter pin (34) and pin (35) from carriage assembly (2) and ripper tooth group (36). Remove ripper tooth group (36) from carriage assembly (2) .
Repeat Step 39 and Step 38 in order to remove the remaining ripper tooth groups.
