The apron control (lever) is located at the right of the operator's seat.
Apron Float (1) - Push the lever all the way to the right and release the lever. The lever will remain in the FLOAT position. This allows the apron to maintain a constant level. The FLOAT position should be used when you are hauling a load. This allows the height of the bowl to be adjusted without spilling material onto the road surface.Apron CLOSE (2) - Move the lever partially to the right in order to close the apron. The lever will return to the HOLD position when the lever is released. The apron can be lowered when the engine stopped. Move the lever to the CLOSE position and allow the apron to be lowered to the ground.Apron HOLD (3) - The lever will return to the HOLD position when the lever is released from the CLOSE position or from the OPEN position. The apron will remain in the position that is selected.Apron OPEN (4) - Pull the lever toward the operator in order to open the apron. The lever will return to the HOLD position when the lever is released.
