Install valve plate (40) on the barrel assembly, as shown.
Properly position the gasket (39), outer spring (41), seat (42), and valve plate (40) in the pump housing.
Use the following procedure to assemble piston assemblies (28) and (29).

Install setscrew (38) and nut (34) in plug (37). In order to perform the final adjustment of setscrew (38), refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Hydraulic and Electronic Systems" in this module. After adjustment of setscrew (38), tighten nuts (34) to a torque of 240 25 N m (175 18 lb ft).
The spring washers must be installed into their original position in order to obtain the specific height.
Install seat (32), spring washers (36), shim (31) and retaining ring (35) in plug (37). Correctly position spring washers (36).
Install O-ring seal (33) on plug (37). Install piston (30) in plug (37), as shown.

Install piston assemblies (28) and (29) in the original location in the cover. Install the retaining ring that holds each valve assembly in position.

Install five plugs (26) in cover (1).
Install two O-ring seals (27) in plate (25), as shown.

Put plate (25) in position on cover (1). Install four socket head bolts (24) that hold the plate in position. Tighten the four socket head bolts to a torque of 14 1 N m (10 1 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (20) on seat (21). Install the shim and seat in cover (1). Note: In order to perform the final adjustment of setscrew (19), refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Hydraulic and Electronic Systems" in this module.
Install setscrew (19) and nut (23) in cover (18). Adjust setscrew (19). After adjustment of setscrew (19), tighten nut (23) to a torque of 240 25 N m (175 18 lb ft).

Put cover (18) in position on cover (1), as shown. Install two socket head bolts (17).
Use the following procedure to assemble the pump control (10).

Apply clean hydraulic oil on pistons (13) and control piston (14). Install two pistons (13) and control piston (14) in cylinder (12).
Install orifice (15) and three O-ring seals (16) in cylinder (12).

Install two pins (8) in cover (1).
Install bearing (9) in cover (1).
Put pump control (10) in position on cover (1). Install two socket head bolts (11). Tighten the two socket head bolts to a torque of 62 7 N m (46 5 lb ft).

Install the unloader control valve in cover (1). Install O-ring seal (7) on plug (4). Install spring (5), spool (6) and plug (4) in cover (1). Tighten plug (4) to a torque of 21 2 N m (15 1 lb ft).

Carefully, put cover (1) in position on the pump housing. Install socket head bolts (2) that hold the cover in position. Tighten the socket head bolts to a torque of 165 15 N m (122 11 lb ft).
