BEFORE PERFORMING ANY WORK WITH THE CAB RISER TILTED, THE RED TILT SUPPORT BRACKETS MUST BE INSTALLED. DO NOT OPERATE THE MACHINE WITH THE CAB RISER IN THE TILTED POSITION. PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH COULD OCCUR.
Lower The Cab Riser:
1. Remove this bracket if the machine is so equipped. The bracket part number is 13670802. Attach a suitable lifting device to the two lifting rings located on top of the cab. The lifting rings are located in the two rear corners of the cab. The weight of the cab, platform and riser is approximately 8820 kg. (4000 lb.).3. Remove the bolts that hold the riser to the upper frame. Raise the riser until it is just past center. DO NOT APPLY EXCESSIVE LIFTING FORCE WITH THE LIFTING DEVICE. DAMAGE TO THE RISER FRAME CAN OCCUR.4. Remove the red brackets and hardware that are stored adjacent to the generator control panel in the bottom of the riser. Slowly lower the riser until the red left hand bracket (part number 130-2093) and the red right hand bracket (part number 1288475) can be installed as shown in the illustration. Use 8T-5460 bolts, the 8T-4123 washers and the 8T4131 nuts to attach the brackets.Raise The Cab Riser:
1. Attach a suitable lifting device to the two lifting rings located on top of the cab. These lifting rings are located in the two rear corners of the cab. The weight of the cab, platform and riser is approximately 8820 kg. (4000 lb.).2. Remove the two red tilt support brackets and attaching hardware. Store the red brackets adjacent to the generator control panel in the bottom of the riser.3. Raise the riser until it is just past center. DO NOT APPLY EXCESSIVE LIFTING FORCE WITH THE LIFTING DEVICE. DAMAGE TO THE RISER FRAME CAN OCCUR.4. Slowly lower the riser until it is in the original position. Install the bolts that hold the the riser to the upper frame and tighten the bolts.5. Remove the lifting device from the cab.
