(2) Broken shaftSIMS reports are being reported regarding broken shafts on front wiper motors.Most broken shafts happened due operator/customer negligence. Wiper arms are being placed in the forward down position resting on the man step platform in the front of the cab window during window cleaning or other cab window or wiper service. The wiper arm is not returned to the operating position before the machine is operated and articulated leading to shaft breakage.Solution
