Information:

The creeper drive causes the transmission to default to C 16 gear when engaged and to N 1 gear when disengaged. The preselected start-up gear can be any gear between C 1 and C 16 in FORWARD and R 3 and R 10 in REVERSE. In preselecting a start-up gear, if a gear below C 11 is selected, the transmission cannot be upshifted to C 11 through C 16 until the tractor is moving. R 11 gear is also not available until the tractor is moving.
The creeper speed reduction drive offers very low ground speeds. Do not use the low gearing to apply excessive draft loads to the tractor, as severely reduced drive train life will result. Excessive draft load is defined as a load that the tractor, when weighing less than 11 590 kg (25,500 lb), is not capable of pulling at 7.3 km/h (4.5 mph) or faster.
Automatic Engine Shutdown
This tractor is equipped with an automatic engine shutdown feature. This feature will automatically shutdown the engine within 30 seconds if any one of the following conditions are experienced:* Low engine oil pressure* Excessive engine coolant temperature* Excessive transmission oil temperature* Low transmission oil pressure* Excessive steering filter restrictionBefore shutdown occurs, "STOP" (1) will flash in the EMC center display and a pulsating tone will sound. If stopping the tractor within 30 seconds will create an unsafe situation, press OVERRIDE switch (2) to allow the automatic engine shutdown process to be suspended. Immediately proceed to a safe stopping area and stop the engine. Investigate and correct the cause of the automatic shutdown.
The engine shutdown feature is fully automatic and could stop the tractor in a dangerous location, such as in traffic. To avoid this situation, drive the tractor to a safe location within 30 seconds after shutdown process begins. The shutdown process can be overriden by pressing the top of the override switch. This switch is located on the right side of the steering column.
Electronic System Interference
Due to the potential for electronic interference between the tractor's electronic system and FM 2-way radios, the following recommendations should be followed:* Do not install the radio or antenna coaxial cable near the tractor electronic modules or cab wiring harnesses. The modules are located in the side console, front console, and beneath the floor mat behind the seat.* Mount the radio on the left side of the cab, away from the electronic systems.* Mount the radio antenna on top of the cab roof and make sure it is properly grounded.* Ensure the antenna is mounted on a ground plane. Consider using a zero ground plane antenna.* Check the coaxial cable to verify it is in good condition.* Have the system checked with a standing wave meter to verify the coaxial cable is the right length (tuned) for the system.* Do not use hand-held radios inside the cab, unless the radio is connected to an outside antenna.Optimizing Turning Performance
Since a tracked tractor must slide the tracks over the ground or road surface to
