Disconnect tube assembly (42) .

Remove two bolts and washers (44) that hold clamps (43). Disconnect tube assembly (45) and remove tube assembly (62) .

Remove two bolts (48) and remove guard (49). Remove nine bolts (46) and remove cover (47) .

Use Tooling (B) to support the transmission (50) .

Note: Bolts (51) are different lengths. Mark the bolts and identify the bolts for the proper location.
Remove six bolts and washers (51) from the transmission mounting bracket (52). Repeat for the other side.

Rotate bracket (52) away from the casing (53) .

Place support blocks (54) in the rear of the machine in order to keep the center housing from rotating too far. Raise the transmission in order to clear the hardbar. Place support blocks (55) under center housing (2) .

Install Tooling (A) and attach to a suitable lifting device.

Remove 22 bolts (56) from the extension housing.

Before you separate the transmission and the extension housing from the center housing, you need to hold the pump drive gear (57) and the two couplings (58) through the access cover. The pump drive gear (57) and the two couplings (58) stay in the extension housing during removal. If you fail to do this, pump drive gear (57) and the two couplings (58) will fall when you do the separation.

Remove bolts (59). Install forcing screws in threaded hole (60) in order to separate the center housing. Repeat for the other side. Separate transmission (50) and extension housing (61) from the center housing (2). The weight of the transmission (50) and extension housing (61) is 1225 kg (2700 lb).
