Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the fuel lines
Remove the vibration damper
Do not open the high pressure fuel system without allowing the fuel system to purge. After the engine has shut down, allow the fuel system to purge for ten minutes. This operating fuel system contains high pressure. Exposure to high pressure fuel can result in personal injury.

Rotate Tooling (B) until the detent engages in the fuel injection pump. This rotation will ensure that the fuel injection pump is timed correctly.
Installation Procedure
Install the fuel injection pump in the reverse order of removal.
