high capacity Group 31 maintenance free battery is now available. The 9X3404 Maintenance Free Battery has 900 cold cranking amps, 165 reserve capacity, and 100 amp-hours.
This new battery was developed for superior cold start performance on any machine using Group 31 batteries. It is a direct replacement for 3T5760, 3T5770, and 3T5780 Original Equipment Batteries. The new battery will start machines at colder temperatures than other Cat maintenance free batteries.
Like other maintenance free batteries, the 9X3404 Maintenance Free Battery should be checked with a digital volt meter for state of charge. Any reading below 12.40 volts means it needs recharging. Refer to Special Instruction SEHS7633, "Battery Test Procedure" for complete test and recharge information.
