Problem
The bolts that hold the camshaft segments together on certain 3606, 3608, 3612, and 3616 Engines may not be tightened to the correct torque.

Action Required
Check the torque of the 0S1585 Bolts that hold the camshaft segments together and tighten them if necessary. The correct torque for the 0S1585 Bolts is 135 +/- 15 N.m (100 +/- 10 lb ft). Mark all of the bolts as they are checked to make sure none are missed. If any of the bolts are not tightened to the correct torque or are missing, record the quantity and position of these bolts and send to: All Dealers Except COSA COSA Dealers Caterpillar Inc.
