Quick Coupler Control (20)
Hydraulic Pin Grabber Quick Coupler
If equipped, the switch for the quick coupler control is located on the right console.
LOCK - Move the switch to this position to engage the quick coupler onto the work tool.
UNLOCKED - Move the switch to this position to disengage the coupler from the work tool.Note: An alarm will sound whenever the switch is in the UNLOCKED position.For further details, see Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Quick Coupler Operation".Universal Quick Coupler
If equipped, the switch for the quick coupler control is located on the right console.
LOCKED - Move the switch to this position to engage the quick coupler onto the work tool.
LOCKING - Move the switch for the quick coupler to the LOCKING position to retract the wedge.
UNLOCKING - Move the switch for the quick coupler to the UNLOCKING position to extend the wedge. Use this position only during the coupling or uncoupling of the work tool. The hydraulic system is pressurized when the switch is in this position.Note: An alarm will sound whenever the switch is in the UNLOCKING or LOCKING position.For further details, see Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Quick Coupler Operation".Lower Window Wiper and Window Washer (21-22)
Lower Window Wiper (21) - Push down on the top of the switch to turn on the lower window wiper. Push down the bottom portion of the switch to turn off the lower window wiper.
Lower Window Washer (22) - Push down on the top of the switch and keep the switch depressed to activate the lower window washer. While the switch is depressed, the washer fluid will spray from the nozzle.
If the wiper does not operate with the switch in the ON position, turn the switch off immediately. Check the cause. If the switch remains on, motor failure can result.
If the washer is used continuously for more than 20 seconds or used when no washer solution comes out, motor failure can result.
Fine Swing Control (23) (If Equipped)
The Fine Swing Control delays the engagement of the swing parking brake.If the machine is operating on a slope with the Fine Swing Control in the ON position, the swing motion may become uncontrollable which could result in property damage, personal injury or death.Turn the Fine Swing Control to the OFF position when the machine is operating on a slope.
Fine Swing Control - Push down on the top of the switch to activate the fine swing control. This improves swing control during deceleration of a swing.When the fine swing control is ON, the swing parking brake is released. Swing control improves during deceleration of a swing because the swing is allowed to drift instead of stopping abruptly.Push down on the bottom of the switch to turn off the fine swing control. Operate
