Information:
The main components of the auxiliary system are implement section (6) of bank valve (1) and diverter valve (40).

(3) Joystick (Auxiliary Service Switches)Implement section (6) of bank valve (1) is operated by solenoids. The solenoids are controlled by switches on joystick (3). Control of implement section (6) is not proportional. When the selector switches on joystick (3) are operated, the spool in bank valve (1) is fully offset. This connects the auxiliary service to piston pump (25) and to hydraulic tank (23). The output of the piston pump is controlled by the load pressure from work tool cylinder (43). Load pressure from the work tool cylinder is transmitted to the pump via the resolver network of the bank valve and load sensing line (24) .A single stage relief valve (35) and a dual stage relief valve (11) are installed into implement section (6). The single stage relief valve controls system pressure when the quick coupler pins are being engaged and when a work tool is operated. The dual stage relief valve has two pressure settings. The low pressure setting controls system pressure when a work tool is operated. The high pressure setting controls system pressure when the quick coupler pins are being disengaged. The dual stage relief valve is controlled by the quick-coupler pin switch that is located on the instrument panel. The quick-coupler pin switch controls implement section (4) for the quick coupler which applies pressure to the dual stage relief valve when the quick-coupler pin switch is operated. This increases the relief setting of the valve. The quick-coupler pin switch is used in conjunction with switches that are mounted on joystick (3) . The operation of the switches on the joystick depends on the control arrangement of the machine. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7370 for information regarding the operation of the joystick.

(40) Diverter ValveThe manually operated diverter valve (40) is located on the boom head. The diverter valve is equipped with two quick couplers (hydraulic) in order to provide a connection for work tool cylinder (43). The diverter valve permits the operation of a work tool cylinder when the handle is in the UPPER position. When the handle is in the LOWER position, the diverter valve permits operation of the quick coupler.

Rolling HosesThe diverter valve (40) is connected to bank valve (1) by rolling hoses which are located inside the boom.
