( 2 ) This input is always connected to ground.The MPP makes decisions that are based on input information and internal information. Then, the corresponding response is made through the outputs. The Chart in Table 1 lists the input information and output information. The external inputs and the external output of the MPP are joined to the machine harness by connectors A and B. Connector A has 12 contacts. Connector B has 15 contacts.The MPP is ON whenever the key start switch is in the ON position. The backlighting for the display area is ON whenever the lighting switch for the machine is in any position except OFF.The MPP has the following two operating modes:

CalibrationSee the Topic "Modes of Operation" for more information.In order to provide US units of measurement and metric units of measurement, there are two versions of the MPP. There is one version for US units and one version for metric units. Refer to the Parts Manual for your machine in order to determine the appropriate monitor.The two versions are identical except for the units of measurement that are shown. The length, the area, and the speed are shown in either US units of measurement or in metric units of measurement. The unit of measurement that is shown depends on the version of the MPP that is installed.The version that is on your machine can be determined by selecting the ground speed that should appear on the readout. "km/h" is shown on the right side of display area (1) for metric versions. The version for the US does not have a readout on the right side of the display area.Note: Minor changes to display area (1) have been made since the start of production of the MPP. The changes have improved the clarity of display area (1). Illustration 1 shows the later, improved display area. Note: Also, the MPP must know certain characteristics of the machine.
