( 1 ) Cut the lockwire to a length 200.0 mm (7.87 inch).Start By:
Perform the Electrical Shutdown and Voltage Discharge procedure.
Fully tilt the cab.
The Power Train Electric Drive System and the Accessory Power System will contain hazardous voltage levels during machine operation and for a period of time after machine shutdown.Do not remove any covers that will expose energized electrical components while the engine is operating. Do not remove any covers that will expose the energized electrical components while the components remain energized following an engine shutdown.Do not perform any type of electrical maintenance on the orange hazardous voltage conductors, the power train components or the accessory power system components while the engine is operating.Do not perform any type of electrical maintenance on the orange hazardous voltage conductors, the power train components or the accessory power system components while the components remain energized following an engine shutdown.Always perform the safe shutdown and de-energizing procedure before performing electrical service on the Power Train Electric Drive System or the Accessory Power System.Failure to follow these instructions could result in personal injury or death.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Remove bolts (1) and covers (2) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (4) . Disconnect harness assembly (5) . Remove ground straps (9) .Note: Support cable assemblies (6) during the removal and installation procedure. Do not use an impact wrench to disconnect or connect cable assemblies (6) . Ensure that cables assemblies (6) have proper contact during the installation procedure.
Disconnect cable assemblies (6) . Remove bolts (8) in order to reposition cable assemblies (6) aside.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the power inverter (7) . The weight of the power inverter (7) is approximately 150 kg (330 lb). Remove bolts (3) , the mounts, and the power inverter (7) .

Remove bolts (11) , cover (10) , cover (12) , and the O-ring seals.Installation Procedure
Install the power inverter (7) in the reverse order of removal.Note: Clean the electrical connections with a 90% isopropanol alcohol and 10% water solution before assembly.Note: When reinstalling mounts included with callout (3) use Tooling (D) .
Apply Tooling (B) to the O-ring seals for cover (12) , cover (10) , cable assemblies (6) , and covers (2) .
Tighten bolts (11) , (8) and (1) to a torque of 15 3 N m (133 27 lb in).

Install Tooling (C) in order to secure the harness assemblies (5) . Install Tooling (C) in a clockwise direction.
