Check and record engine crankshaft endplay after clutch has been assembled to engine. Hit the shaft on the end to relieve any bearing preload. Remeasure the engine crankshaft endplay. The endplay must be identical to the value recorded previously. Clutch Engagement Check (On Engine):A torque of 325 to 435 N m (238 to 320 lb ft) on the splined clutch lever shaft is required to engage the clutch.
