A Dual Slope Layered Lift requires at least five points. The design uses point "2", "3" and "4" in order to define the slope of the layered lift. Refer to Illustration 6 and 7.

Dual Slope, from roadIllustration 8 shows the plan and cross-section view of a simple 5-alignment road design exported as a ".dc" road design providing dual slope layered lift. The two cross slopes are calculated from the cross slopes of the design on either side of the center alignment.

"Offline L"     Offline L considers all alignments to the left of the dividing point. The distance that is displayed is the shortest distance from the left blade edge to the nearest considered alignment. If there are no alignments to the left of the dividing point, then "N/A" is displayed.    
"Offline R"     Offline R considers all alignments to the right of the dividing point. The distance that is displayed is the shortest distance from the right blade edge to the nearest considered alignment. If there are no alignments to the right of the dividing point, then "N/A" is displayed.
