Lower the temperature of bearings (17). Use Tooling (F) in order to install bearings (17) into each loader arm. Bearings (17) should be protruding evenly from both sides of the lift arm.

Install lip seals (16) .

Apply Tooling (G) to the inside and to the outside of collars (15). Install collars into the bucket. Make sure that collars (15) are not protruding past the inner plates of the bucket.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to bucket (1). The weight of a 24 cubic yard bucket (1) is approximately 22,680 kg (50,000 lb). Install bucket (1). Collars (15) fit over the bearings that were previously installed into the lift arms. Position bucket (1) so that collars (16) can be inserted over the bearings in the end of the lift arms. A portion of collars (15) will still be visible after installation.

Install pin assembly (14). Make sure that pin assembly (14) does not expel the collars that were previously installed. Install shims (9) and (10). Install plate (13) and bolt (11). Install bolts (12) .
Install retainer (8) and bolt (7). Add shims or subtract shims (9) and (10), as required. This will equalize the gaps that are located between the bucket and the lift arms.

Attach a suitable lifting device to the bucket end of tilt link (4). The weight of tilt link (4) is approximately 480 kg (1060 lb). Raise tilt link (4) into position. Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to pin (6). The weight of Tooling (C) and pin (6) is approximately 95 kg (210 lb). Install pin (6). Apply Tooling (G) to the inside and to the outside of collars (5). Tooling (B) may be used as a handle in order to aid in the installation of collars (5) to each side of tilt link (4) .
Install bolt (3). Install plugs (2).
Tighten bolt (3) to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1327 147 lb ft). Strike collars (5). Then, tighten bolt (3) to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1327 147 lb ft). Repeat this step until a torque of 1800 200 N m (1327 147 lb ft) is maintained.
Tighten the center bolts of the link pins to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1327 147 lb ft) after 50 hours of operation.
