Remove the bottom guard.
Drain the engine oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change" for the correct draining procedures.

Disconnect harness assembly (1).
Remove bolts (2), engine oil pan (3), and the gasket.Installation Procedure
Note: The following images are for instruction purposes only. The photos show the correct tightening sequence for the bolts for the engine oil pan.

Sequence for tightening the bolts
(X) Position of guide studs

Install Tooling (A) to Positions (X) on the cylinder block.
Apply Tooling (B) to the new gasket. Position the new gasket onto engine oil pan (3). Use Tooling (A) to align engine oil pan (3). Install engine oil pan (3) and bolts (2).
Tighten bolts (2) in the sequence that is shown in Illustration 2. Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 22 N m (195 lb in).
Remove Tooling (A).
Install remaining bolts (2). Tighten remaining bolts (2) in the sequence that is shown in Illustration 3. Tighten remaining bolts (2) to a torque of 22 N m (195 lb in).
Connect harness assembly (1).
Fill the engine oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil Level - Check" for the correct filling procedures.End By:
Install the bottom guard.
