Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all harness assemblies, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Position tube assemblies (15) and (6). Secure tube assemblies (15) and (6) to the boom using clips (4), bolts (20), and washers (27) .
Install bleeder screw (2) and plug (1) into tube assemblies (15) and (6) .
Connect hose assemblies (14) to tube assemblies (15) and (6) using seals (17), flanges (19), bolts (24), and washers (27) .

Connect tube assembly (7) to tube assembly (15) using seal (18) and bolts (25) .
Attach plate assembly (9) to the boom using bolts (26) and washers (27). Position plate (12) onto plate assembly (9). Secure tube assembly (15) to plate assembly (9) using clips (3), bolts (25), and washers (27) .
Attach plate assembly (5) to the boom using bolts (22) and washers (27). Position plate (12) onto plate assembly (5). Secure tube assembly (7) to plate assembly (5) using clips (3), bolts (25), and washers (27) .
Repeat steps 4 through 6 for tube assemblies (6) and (7) on the opposite side of the boom.

. Secure tube assembly (7) to existing tube assembly using clips (10), plate (11), bolts (21), nuts (23), and washers (27) .
Connect tube assembly (7) to tube assembly (8) using seal (18) and bolts (25)
Attach plate assembly (5) to the boom using bolts (22) and washers (27). Position plate (12) onto plate assembly (5). Secure tube assembly (7) to plate assembly (5) using clips (3), bolts (22), and washers (27) .
Repeat steps 8 through 10 for tube assemblies (7) and (8) on the opposite side of the boom.

Attach plate assembly (5) to the boom using bolts (22) and washers (27). Position plate (12) onto plate assembly (5). Secure tube assembly (8) to plate assembly (5) using clips (3), bolts (25), and washers (27)
Attach plate (13) to the boom using bolts (24) and washers (27). Position plate (16) to plate (13). Secure tube assembly (8) to plate (13) using clips (3), bolts (20), and washers (27) .
Repeat steps 12 and 13 for tube assembly (8) on the opposite side of the boom.
