Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the wheel (final drive). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel (Final Drive) - Remove and Install".

Remove covers (1) and (2).

Loosen bolts (4). Turn bolts (3) counterclockwise in order to relieve the tension on the chain.

Remove cotter pins (6) and side bar (7). Support chain (5) and remove connecting link (8).

Remove chain (5) from sprocket (9).

Remove chain (5) from sprocket (10) and the machine. Installation Procedure

Position chain (5) on sprocket (10).

Position chain (5) around sprocket (9).

Bring the ends of chain (5) together and install connecting link (8). Install side bar (7) and cotter pins (6).

Use bolts (3) in order to adjust the tension on the chain. The chain should have 25 5 mm (1.0 0.2 inch) of deflection. Tighten bolts (4).

Install covers (1) and (2). End By:
Install the wheel (final drive). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel (Final Drive) - Remove and Install".
