Components of the Front Axle (1) Two hub assemblies. (2) Two spindle assemblies. (3) Two kingpins. (4) Two tie rods. (5) Axle. (6) Hydraulic steering cylinder.The front axle consists of the following components: fabricated axle (5), two hub assemblies (1), two spindle assemblies (2), two kingpins (3), two tie rods (4) and hydraulic steering cylinder (6) .The hub assemblies (1) rotate on the forged steel spindle assemblies (2) with two opposing tapered roller bearings. Tightening a nut to a specified torque adjusts the end play. Two sleeve bearings are pressed into each spindle assembly (2) and assembled onto the fabricated axle (5) with kingpins (3). The hydraulic steering cylinder (6) is bolted to the axle. The steering cylinder is connected to the arms of the spindles through two adjustable tie rods (4).
