(9) Use the following procedure to tighten the bolt for the camshaft drive gears:
Tighten the bolt for the camshaft drive gear to 360 40 N m (260 30 lb ft).
Mark a vertical line on the head of the bolt for the camshaft drive gear. Refer to Illustration 2.
Place a driver against the retaining plate of the camshaft drive gear. Strike the driver solidly with a hammer 3 to 4 times.
Tighten the bolt for the camshaft drive gear again to 360 40 N m (260 30 lb ft).
