ROD PISTON 5P3597 - Caterpillar

1. Loosen three v-belt tensioning bolts (1). Remove four v-belts (2).2. Remove eight bolts (3). Remove the damper and pulley (5).3. With the damper and pulley removed, remove four bolts (4), the clamp washer and the crankshaft pulley. The following steps are for the installation of the damper and pulley.4. Put the crankshaft pulley in position on the end of the crankshaft, and install the clamp washer and four bolts (4) which hold it.5. Put pulley (5) and the damper in position on the crankshaft pulley, and install eight bolts (3) that hold it.6. Install four v-belts (2). Adjust the tension of the v-belts. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct adjusting procedure.
