Installation Procedure
Move the machine to a smooth, horizontal location. Move the machine away from other operating machines and away from personnel.
Before you remove any hydraulic component from the machine, make sure that all hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic system is relieved. Refer to the appropriate Operation and Maintenance Manual for your machine for the proper procedure.

Disconnect existing wiring harness (11) and remove existing 273-2132 Pressure Switch Gp (12) from existing elbow (13). Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 2.

(1) 164-5570 Union As (2) 121-0528 Hose As
Install 164-5570 Union As (1) onto existing elbow (13). Refer to Illustration 3.
Connect one end of 121-0528 Hose As (2) to union assembly (1). Refer to Illustration 3.

Connect the other end of the hose assembly (2) to 343-3447 Pressure Switch Gp (3) and purge the air from the hose assembly. Refer to Illustration 5.
Position pressure switch group (3) on 344-1583 Bracket (4). Refer to Illustration 5.
Secure pressure switch group (3) to bracket (4) by using two 7X-2619 Bolts (5) and two 1H-3244 Lockwashers (6). Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of bolts (5) before installing. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 6 1 N m (53 9 lb in). Refer to Illustration 5.
Remove the existing 8T-4136 Bolt that secures 174-7875 Horn (14). Mount bracket (4) behind horn (14) inside the chassis by using one 8T-4186 Bolt (7), one 8T-4133 Nut (8), and one additional 8T-4121 Hard Washer (9). Refer to Illustration 5.
Reroute existing wiring harness (11) to pressure switch group (3) .
Reconnect existing wiring harness (11) to pressure switch group (3). Refer to Illustration 5.

Secure hose assembly (2) to the cylinder hose with six 7K-1181 Cable Straps (10). Refer to Illustration 6 and Illustration 7.

Secure existing wiring harness (11) to the nearby link by using one cable strap (10). Coil up the extra length of the wiring harness and tie the wiring harness together by using one cable strap (10) in the area that is shown. Refer to Illustration 8.
Test the overload warning system for proper operation and check for leaks.
