The thicker layer gives the bearing the ability to better adjust to the crankshaft journals and give longer service life than the former bearings.
Adaptable As: The new 8N7764 Main Bearings are direct replacements for the former 2N7048 Main Bearings which are canceled. The new 8N7769 Rod Bearings are direct replacements for the former 4L3763 Rod Bearings which are canceled. These are standard size bearings.
