On all 3412 Engines, the new 2W5289 Camshaft Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 4N9053 Camshaft Assembly. Both of the former camshaft assemblies have been canceled. The new 2W5288 Gear used in the new camshaft assembly can also be used as a replacement for the 7N8345 Gear used in the former camshaft assembly.
