This impact can be seen in Illustration 2. This impact will lead to structural failure of the track bushing. Prolonged impact can also cause poor ride and grade of the tractor.The few cases where Double Flange track trollers on SystemOne track may be needed are to improve guiding on side slopes steeper than 2:1. In those situations, the link and roller wear must be managed to keep the inner flange from contacting the bushing. Roller wear can be managed by replacing rollers or by trimming the inner flange to a smaller diameter.Also, If link and roller wear are not managed, the inner flange may begin to expose and damage the track seal near the bushing. Therefore, the inner flanges should be managed early enough in the undercarriage wear life to avoid this seal exposure.
