The pressure tap is located behind an access door on the right fender of the cab. (HA) Implement pump (discharge pressure)
Attach Tooling (A) or Tooling (B) to pressure tap (HA) .
Place the main display in the operator station in Service Mode of operation in order to monitor the engine rpm.Test Procedure (Low Pressure Standby)
Start the engine. Run the engine at high idle. Make sure that the parking brake is engaged.
Move all the control levers into the HOLD position.
The correct reading on Tooling (A) or Tooling (B) is 3600 kPa (525 psi), which is the output pressure of the pump in the low pressure standby condition. If the pressure reading is below 2100 kPa (305 psi) or above 4000 kPa (580 psi), check the margin pressure setting. Refer to the test for margin pressure in Testing and Adjusting, "Pump Discharge Pressure - Test".
Apply the service brake. Disengage the parking brake. Move the tiller handle back and forth to the stops for steering. Release the tiller. If the pressure on the tetragauge does not return to the reading from Step 3, the steering linkage should be adjusted.
Adjustments to the pump output should not be made based on the results of the test. If the reading is not correct, run the margin pressure test.Machine Preparation for Test Procedure (Margin Pressure) and Test Procedure (High Pressure Cutoff)
Perform Steps 1 through 13 in "Machine Preparation for Test Procedure (Low Pressure Standby)".Note: Perform Step 2 and Step 3 if you are using Tooling (D). Perform Step 4 if you are using Tooling (B) .
Assemble Tooling (D). Refer to Illustration 3 for the orientation of the parts. Refer to Table 2 for the required parts information.

Make sure that the steering linkage is correctly adjusted. Refer to the test for low-pressure standby in Testing and Adjusting, "Pump Discharge Pressure - Test" in this module.
Place the main display in the operator station in Service Mode of operation in order to monitor the engine rpm.Test Procedure (Margin Pressure)
The margin pressure test indicates if the flow compensator spool needs to be adjusted. The flow compensator spool controls the margin pressure.
Start the engine. Run the engine at high idle. Make sure that the parking brake is engaged. Put the tiller handle in the NEUTRAL position.
Move the bulldozer control lever to a position between the
