New temperature recorders that record surface temperature are available. Each temperature recorder has six silver colored temperature sensitive indicator windows. Each window turns permanently black when the indicated temperature for that window is reached or exceeded. The response time for the color change is approximately one second. There are five different temperature recorders that cover five different temperature ranges. The part numbers and temperature ranges are shown in the chart.
An 8T2844 Recorder Group is available that consists of three of each of the temperature recorders listed in the chart.
Temperature recorders.The temperature recorders have an adhesive back and can be attached to any clean dry surface. The installed temperature recorder will withstand repeated temperature changes, solvents and water. It can be removed and kept as a permanent record. 1. Metal surface temperatures may be determined as follows: a. Clean the metal surface with denatured alcohol or another non-residue cleaner such as electrical contact cleaner.b.
