Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Release hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic system. Refer to the above Disassembly and Assembly reference for the machine that is being serviced.

Installed position of the 3E-6451 Temperature Switch Gp (1) 3E-6451 Temperature Switch Gp (2) 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal (3) Axle oil cooler pump
Remove the former 3E-6453 Temperature Switches from axle oil cooler pump (3) .
Install a 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal (2) to both 3E-6451 Temperature Switch Gp (1) .
Install a new 3E-6451 Temperature Switch Gp (1) to both sections of axle oil cooler pump (3). Refer to Illustration 1.
