At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure. Steam can cause personal injury. Check the coolant level only after the engine has been stopped and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the fill cap slowly in order to release any pressure. Cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with skin and eyes in order to prevent personal injury.
At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure.Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.Before installation or removal of any hydraulic test equipment, relieve the pressure in the hydraulic tank by slowly loosening the filler cap.
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.Note: Drain all fluids in a suitable container for storage or disposal.
Remove the floorplate from the machine.

Remove covers (1), (2), (3), and (4) from the machine.

Make sure that the pressure has been released from the air conditioning system. Disconnect two hoses (8) from the air conditioner evaporator core. Pull the hoses from the cab.
Loosen two hose clamps (9) and remove two hoses (10) from the heater core. Pull the hose from the cab.

Disconnect four wiring harnesses (11) that are located on top of the flywheel housing.

Disconnect wire harness (12) from the finger tip control module and from the electronic control module.

Disconnect rod end (13) of the governor control.

Disconnect wiring harness (14) from the cab.

Remove hoses (17) from the washer fluid bottle.
Disconnect wiring harness (15) from the circuit breaker box. Disconnect wiring harness (16) .

Remove two bolts (19) and the plates from each corner of the cab.

Remove handle (20) from the hydraulic control rod.

Attach an appropriate lifting device to the cab at the three lifting brackets and remove cab (22) from the machine. The weight of the cab is 681 kg (1501 lb).
