ROLLER GP-ELEVATOR CHAIN 2154459 - Caterpillar

Perform the following procedure to convert the former 122-0725 Oil Filter Base Group to the new 166-1329 Oil Filter Base Group .
Disassemble the former 122-0725 Oil Filter Base Group. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Filter Base" section.
Replace the 9M-0853 Relief Valve Plunger with a 1P-1367 Plunger .

( 2 ) These components will be used in Step 4.
Assemble all of the components from the former 122-0725 Oil Filter Base Group into the new 166-1328 Base except for the components that are identified in Illustration 2 and Table 3. Discard the components that are identified in Illustration 2 and Table 3 except for hard washers (2) and O-ring seal (4). Hard washers (2) and O-ring seal (4) will be used in Step 4. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Filter Base" section.

Install plunger (8), spring (10), and O-ring seal (4) into the new 166-1328 Base .
Install cover (9), hard washers (2), studbolt (6), and bolt (7) into the new 166-1328 Base .
