1. Start the engine and raise the bowl until the sliding floor is level. Move floor to the rear of the machine. Put jack (1) or supports under the bowl frame. 2. Put a floor jack (3) under each side of the sliding floor to lift the weight off the rollers (2). 3. Remove the two bolts (4), shims and rollers (2) from the floor.Install Sliding Floor Rollers
1. Install shims and roller (1) on the floor. The clearance between the sides of the scraper bowl and the rollers is 0.8 to 6.4 mm (.03 to .25 in.).2. Lower the floor assembly on guide track. 3. Remove jacks (2) or supports from under the bowl frame.4. There is zero clearance between the floor and guide (3) when the floor closed.Disassemble Sliding Floor Rollers
START BY:a) remove sliding floor rollers 1. Remove nut (1) and lock (2) from shaft. 2. Remove plate (4) and key (3) from shaft. 3. Hit shaft on a wooden block to remove spacer (6). Spacer can be removed with bearing (7). 4. Install tooling (A) and remove seal (8) from roller (5). 5. Remove retaining ring (9) from roller with tool (B). 6. Install nut (1) on shaft. Install tooling (C) and remove the shaft bearing assembly. 7. Remove bearing (6) from shaft (10).Assemble Sliding Floor Rollers
1. Inspect components for damage or wear and make any replacements if necessary.2. Install bearing (1) on shaft (2). 3. Install the shaft bearing assembly in the roller with a press and tool (A). Be sure the assembly is installed to the bottom of the roller counterbore. 4. Install retaining ring (3) with tool (B). 5. Install lip type seal with tool (A). The lip of the seal must be away from the bearing as shown. 6. Install spacer (4) in the roller assembly. 7. Install key (5) and plate (6) on roller shaft. 8. Install lock (8) and nut (7) on roller assembly.END BY:a) install sliding floor rollers
