Use adjustment screw (19) in order to adjust arm assembly (15) to dimension (D) . See Illustration 13. The dimensions that are shown in Illustration 13 do not include the assembling of the caps or of the shims.

Use bearing cap (16), shims (17), and four bolts (18) in order to install bearing (1) to arm assembly (15). Refer to "Procedure for Shimming" for the correct instruction on the usage of shims. Tighten bolts (18) to a torque of 520 70 N m (385 50 lb ft).

Repeat Steps 12 through 15 for the other side of the machine.

Use cap (21), shims (22), and two bolts (23) to assemble ball stud (20) to arm assembly (15). Refer to "Procedure for Shimming" for the correct instructions on the usage of shims. Tighten bolts (23) to a torque of 520 70 N m (385 50 lb ft).

Use pin (24) and pin (25) with ball stud (20) in order to install arm assembly (15) to the C-frame.
Repeat Steps 17 and 18 for the other side of the machine.

Adjust brace (26) to dimensions (B) and to dimensions (C) with adjustment screw (27) and adjustment screw (28). Refer to Illustration 13.
Use bearing cap (16), shims (17), and four bolts (18) to install bearing (1) to brace (26). Refer to "Procedure for Shimming" for the correct instruction on the usage of shims. Tighten bolts (18) to a torque of 520 70 N m (385 50 lb ft). Refer to Illustration 18.
Install brace (26) to the bulldozer blade with four bolts (2).

Use pin (29), pin (30), and cotter (31) to assemble the other end of brace (26) to arm assembly (15). Note: When, assembling pin (30) ensure that cotter (31) is located inside the brace. Split the two legs of cotter (31) to prevent dropping.
Install two grease fittings (32) to brace (26). Grease the brace, as needed.

Repeat Steps 22 through 25 for the other side of the machine.
An improperly adjusted brace causes binding between pivot pin (6) and the bracket that is mounted on the bulldozer blade. Check clearance (F) between pivot pin (6) and C-frame assembly (7). If the desired dimension of 25 5 mm (0.984 0.197 inch) is not achieved, then adjust lower arm assemblies (15) on both sides of the machine. See Illustration 20.
Check the oil in the hydraulic tank. Add oil, if necessary. Cycle the cylinders to a full stroke in
