Information:

Personal injury or death can result from falling material.Remove any overhang and watch for sliding material.
Do not doze with the bucket in the tilt forward position to avoid bucket damage.
Striking the stops unnecessarily and repetitively can result in accelerated wear and high maintenance cost of the loader linkage.
Downhill Operation
Maintain a ground speed that is slow enough for the conditions. Before you operate down a hill, select the proper gear before you start down the grade. The proper gear should allow the machine to maintain the appropriate speed on the down grade. The throttle control should be at high idle and the engine should not overspeed. In most situations, the proper gear will be the same gear that is required to drive up the grade. If the machine builds up excessive speed, the engine can overspeed. This can result in damage to the engine and/or damage to the power train data link. Use the service brake or the engine brake in order to slow the machine until a lower gear can be selected. Select the lower gear and proceed with the throttle control at high idle.Use the service brakes for stopping the machine. Using the service brakes in order to control travel speed of the machine or using the service brakes for stopping from high speeds can cause the brake (axle) oil to overheat. This can result in significant wear and/or damage to the service brakes.Note: The left pedal should not be used for downhill braking.Changing Direction and Speed
Speed changes at full engine speed and directional changes at full engine speed are possible. However, when you change directions, deceleration will maximize the comfort of the operator. In order to control the throttle, use the left brake pedal to decelerate. Deceleration will also maximize the service life of power train components.Quick Coupler Function
Improper attachment of attachments could result in injury or death.Do not operate this machine until you have positive indication that the coupler pins are fully engaged. Check for engagement by:1. Push the tilt control to tilt the attachment down.2. Put down pressure on the attachment.3. Back the machine up and make sure there is not movement between the attachment and the coupler.
Front Quick Coupler for Tools That Do Not Require Hydraulics
Push the quick coupler lever forward in order to disengage the coupler pins.
Tilt the coupler assembly forward.Make sure that the coupler assembly is below the level of the hooks on the attachment that will be attached.
Move the machine forward. Align the attachment hooks with the coupler assembly.
Pull back on the lift lever in order to raise the coupler slightly. Raise the coupler until the coupler assembly contacts the attachment hooks and the attachment is lifted up slightly.Make sure that the attachment is level from one side to the other side.
Tilt back the coupler assembly until the alignment bar of the attachment contacts the coupler.
Pull back on the coupler lever in order to engage the coupler pins into the attachment retainer holes.Note: Ensure that the tool is firmly attached and
