ROLLER GP-TRACK-SINGLE FLANGE 4221054 - Caterpillar

1. Loosen the adjustment screws (1) to get maximum valve clearance. Disconnect oil line (4) from shaft.2. Remove nuts (3) and studs (2) that hold shaft on head. If studs (2) are removed when nuts are loosened, install the studs in the head. Tighten the studs to a torque of 40 5 lb. ft. (55 7 N m). 3. Remove rocker shaft. Remove the push rods (5) from the cylinder head.Install Rocker Shafts And Push Rods
1. Install push rods (1) into position on the lifters. 2. Install rocker shaft (2) on cylinder head.3. Install the nuts and studs that hold rocker shaft to cylinder head. Connect oil line to the shaft. Be sure the studs and nuts are tightened to a torque of 40 5 lb. ft. (55 7 N m).4. Make an adjustment of the valve clearance.
