Work Tool Control
(1) Tilt cylinders. (2) Tilt levers. (3) Work tool. (4) Lift arm assembly. (5) Lift cylinders. (6) Tilt links.
The work tool control moves work tool (3) when the operator moves the control levers in the cab. The work tool control consists of two lift cylinders (5), two tilt cylinders (1), lift arm assembly (4), tilt levers (2), and tilt links (6).This type of linkage is called a Z-bar linkage because of the Z that is formed by the components (tilt cylinders, tilt levers and tilt links). Tilt cylinders (1), lift cylinders (5), and lift arm assembly (4) are fastened to the loader frame by pins.When pressure oil is sent to the head end of lift cylinders (5), lift arm assembly (4) will raise. When pressure oil flows to the rod end of lift cylinders (5), lift arm assembly (4) will lower.When pressure oil is sent to the head end of tilt cylinders (1), the work tool will tilt back. When pressure oil flows to the rod end of tilt cylinders (1), the work tool will dump.
