2. Fasten a hoist to brake (1). Remove bolts (2) and remove the brake. Weight of the brake is 87 lb. (36.3 kg).Install Clutch Brake
1. Use a hoist and put brake (1) in position in the case assembly. Tighten the bolts.2. Install the tube assembly between the brake and the control valve manifold.end by: a) install control valveb) install input clutchDisassemble Clutch Brake
1. Remove bolts (1) and retainer (3).2. Remove bolts (2) and plate (4). 3. Remove manifold (5). Remove the rings from manifold (5).4. Remove spring washers (6) and hub (7). 5. Use a soft faced hammer and remove shaft assembly (8).6. Remove the two O-ring seals from shaft assembly (8).7. Remove hub (9), six disc assemblies (10), the five plates and the thick plate as a unit from gear (11).8. Remove six disc assemblies (10), the five plates and the thick plate from hub (9).9. Remove the ring that holds the disc assemblies and plates on the hub. 10. Remove ring (12).11. Remove ring (13) from gear (11).12. Remove gear (14) from gear (11). 13. Turn gear (14) over and remove the bearing with tooling (A).Assemble Clutch Brake
1. Install the bearing in the counterbore side of gear (1) with tooling (A). 2. Inspect ring (3) in gear (4) for damage and wear. Make a replacement if necessary.3. Install gear (1) in gear (4). Install the ring that holds gear (1) in gear (4).4. Install ring (2) in gear (1). 5. Install shaft assembly (5) in gear (4).6. Install O-ring seals (6) on shaft assembly (5). 7. Install the ring that holds the clutches in position on hub (7). Install hub (7) in gear (4).8. Install thick plate (10). Start with a disc assembly (9) and install the six disc assemblies and five plates (8) and end with a disc assembly. 9. Install hub (11) in gear (4).10. Install spring washers (12) in hub (11) so the outer edge of the first spring washer is in contact with the hub and the outer edges of the last two spring washers are in contact with each other. 11. Install the two rings in manifold (13) as shown.12. Put 1P808 General Purpose Lubricant or similar lubricant on rings and install manifold (13) in hub (7). Make sure the oil passages in the manifold and hub are in alignment and tighten the bolts. 13. Install plate (14) and retainer (16) and tighten bolts (15).end by: a) install clutch brake
